在第二個學期，學生繼續探索選讀各種世界文學包括名著。學生將學習閱讀史詩般的詩歌和研究懸疑小說特點的策略。同時，學生閱讀威廉.莎士比亞的羅密歐與朱麗葉，將分析其中的戲劇元素。寫作教學注重分析和說明性寫作，包括深度指導研究型論文的寫作過程。該項目教導學生批判性的分析主要和次要材料并且通過收集課外材料信息來有效支撐自己的觀點。
